Hurricane Restoration
In the spring of 1988 George and Louise Atchison launched Phoenix Coatings and remain the equity owners of the company to date. During the past three decades George and Louise have been fortunate to assemble a professional construction team to direct the company through the next three decades.
The company has been awarded the “Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business” designation by the U. S. Department of Veterans’ Affairs as a result of George’s two combat tours in Vietnam during the 1960s and 1970s.
The name “Phoenix” was chosen because management wanted to concentrate services to a specialized market within the construction industry; the restoration of existing buildings and facilities along the Gulf Coast. In keeping with the Egyptian mythological bird which rose from the ashes more beautiful and with renewed strength, we chose to work with clients on existing properties and through our restoration process to create a more beautiful and revitalized property.
Located in Pensacola, Florida, Phoenix Coatings provides Commercial, Industrial and Institutional restoration services to a far range of clients along the Gulf Coast of Florida, Alabama and Mississippi. Phoenix’s location in an industrial park with full warehouse and service capabilities allows the company to be prepared on a continuous basis should any form of disaster strike our client base.
